By Car

From Utrecht / Amsterdam via the A12 towards Arnhem: Take exit 19 Bunnik. At the end of the exit, turn left. Drive straight past the next two traffic lights towards Kosterijland. Straight past the third traffic lights you will see the hotel on your right-hand side.

Public transport:

At Utrecht Central Station, take the stopping train to Rhenen. Get off in Bunnik, the first station after departure from Utrecht. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the footpath Anton van Dampad. At the end of this footpath, you will see the hotel on your right-hand side. You can also get to our hotel with the 41 or 43 bus from Utrecht Central Station. Both stop in front of the hotel, at the Kosterijland bus stop. The hotel is straight ahead of you.

Parking

Postillion Convention Center Utrecht Bunnik has more than 400 (free) parking spaces right in front of the entrance. There is also the possibility to recharge your electric car.

Hotels

Participants will be staying in Postillion Bunnik or several hotels in its proximity. The overnight stay includes breakfast.
Please take the following into account:
– We cannot accommodate preferences for one of the hotels.
– Once allocated to a hotel, we shall not change it to another.
– Single rooms are available for permanent staff only.
– Postdocs and PhD candidates will be staying in double rooms. Please indicate a preferred roommate when registering for the conference. If no roommate is indicated, the organisation will allocate one (same sex).

Child care

NWO offers free professional childcare at the conference venue for all participants of Life 2019. If you have requested childcare in your registration, you will be contacted. If you have any questions, please contact us at life2019@nwo.nl.

Bus service

NWO will provide a bus service between Bunnik Station and the venue on Tuesday and Wednesday morning (walking distance is approximately 15 minutes) and between the venue and Bunnik Station on Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon. Details will follow.
