Programme
In addition to keynote speakers Frans de Waal and Tracy Bale, and invited speakers such as Joris Koene and Juliette de Meaux, the programme is now complete with 115 poster presentations and 40 parallel speakers. We are looking forward to explore diversity, from the molecular level, to cells, individual organisms, ecosystems and beyond.
Research communities
For (potential) members of the five research communities within the life sciences, NWO Life is the hub to physically meet, connect and discuss major topics addressing the further development of the field. There will be a networking get-together to connect with each other.
Workshops
We offer 8 different workshops on a range of subjects. While all workshops are open for all participants, some may be more interesting for early career researchers and others for established researchers. Registration for workshops is required, and seats are limited. Please indicate your preference when you register to guarantee a spot.
Demonstrations
At the exhibition floor you will find various demonstrations provided by projects from the Large-scale Research Infrastructures (LRI), funded through the National Roadmap for Large-scale Research Facilities. All five are tightly connected to the Life sciences and will be happy to explain and showcase what they have to offer to facilitate your research.
Social programme
Bionieuws is back with another legendary pub quiz. Competing for eternal fame and bragging rights, the O’Donnell’s Pub was packed with competitive teams last year. Make sure to sign up on site for this year’s edition. Besides the pub quiz, you can go bowling and dancing. For the early birds there is a guided walk through the dunes on Wednesday morning.
