As an Impact Developer, Bob scouts for promising biotechnology research projects at small/medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and knowledge institutes in the region and nationally, as well as at his host institute, the HAN. At the HAN BioCentre, for instance, researchers work on several projects concerning biobased production of (raw) materials to replace petrochemical processes, often in close collaboration with regional and national SMEs. Besides scouting, Biotech Booster provides support for research projects, for instance by refining the business case or finding additional sources of funding.
Motivation: We believe this speaker can provide an overview of relevant and promising biotechnology research in the Dutch landscape.
