Harmen van Rossum is co-founder at Cradle and leads its BioEngineering team. Harmen holds a PhD in Industrial Biotechnology from the Delft University of Technology. After his PhD, he joined Zymergen in 2016, where he led a team that developed high-throughput strain engineering workflows. In 2019, Harmen moved back to The Netherlands to join DSM as tech lead on a strain improvement project (to make Stevia in yeast).
